ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The BNM Sasana Symposium 2023 (SS2023) was an intellectual discourse hosted by Bank Negara Malaysia. The one-day event was aimed at promoting meaningful conversations on key issues and necessary reforms required for the Malaysian economy.

SS2023 featured experts and thought leaders in economics, the financial sector, sustainabilty and more. Key topics included monetary policy, digitalisation, social safety nets, Islamic finance and sustainability.

Participants received in-depth discourse on pertinent topics through panel sessions and forums. They also participated in unique and immersive experiences. There was also an exhibition area featuring key initiatives by Bank Negara Malaysia.
