ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The annual ASEAN Finance Ministers' and Central Bank Governors' Meeting (AFMGM) brings together key financial leaders from across the ASEAN region to further advance regional financial cooperation, while addressing global and regional economic challenges. The 2025 AFMGM and related meetings are co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia.

The theme of Malaysia’s ASEAN 2025 Chairmanship is ‘Inclusivity and Sustainability’. In line with this, the financial sector initiatives will support ASEAN’s post-2025 vision to be a future-ready economy by focusing on sustainable growth, advancing digitalisation and leveraging emerging opportunities.

Several side events and exhibitions will also be featured, showcasing Malaysia's and ASEAN's success stories as well as key regional initiatives.
