What is 'ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future'?
The ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future is a new Vision for ASEAN that succeeds the ASEAN 2025: Forging Ahead Together which was adopted in 2015. It is a long-term strategic document that will chart the future direction of ASEAN in the next two decades. It articulates ASEAN’s aspiration towards realising a resilient, innovative, dynamic and people-centred ASEAN Community by 2045. It also envisions a developed ASEAN as the epicentre of growth in the Indo-Pacific region.
