This Discussion Paper sets out Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) emerging direction and the key considerations to strengthen the operational resilience of financial institutions in a landscape marked by greater digitalisation, complex interdependencies, and more frequent and severe occurrences of operational disruptions.

BNM would like to invite written comments on the discussion areas, including suggestions and alternative approaches that should be considered. Respondents should support their feedback with clear rationale and relevant evidence or examples.
